Meditation for relax your body after work

Physical tension built up over the day often goes unnoticed until you pay it direct attention, area by area, without trying to change it — just noticing it.

Sample session

Sit or lie down somewhere comfortable and close your eyes. We’ll move through the body from the feet up, pausing a few seconds on each area, without judging whatever we find. Start with the feet: notice if they’re cold, warm, tense, or if you barely feel them at all. Move up to the legs, the pelvis, the belly — you might notice you’ve been holding your stomach tight for hours without realizing. Continue up to the chest, the back, the shoulders, so often loaded after a day in front of a screen. Move down the arms to the hands. Finish at the neck and face, noticing the jaw, which often holds tension we don’t even perceive. There’s no need to force anything to relax — just notice. Often, the simple act of paying attention already releases some of that tension.
